Story
Our amazing team, Ocean Synergy made up of Denis O’Neill, Lesley Glenn, Jessika Robson, Ann-Marie Coleman, Sarah Girvan and myself Gail Pedlow are swimming the 21.4 miles (34.5km) of the dreaded North Channel at the end of June. This is one of the most difficult ocean crossings and we are attempting it starting at Donaghadee and finishing at Portpatrick in Scotland. We have been training hard with a 2 hour qualifier and medical to do before they will even let us attempt it, wish us luck and send us a few quid to put a smile on our faces!
There’s 6 of us completing this gruelling challenge…there’s also 6 of us that have been affected by cancer in some shape or form.
OUR VISION
