In June 2025, the rowing team Ocean5 will set off from Monterey Bay, California and attempt to row to 2,800 miles to Kaua'i, Hawaii.

There is some rowing pedigree within the team, with all members having completed an ocean crossing or a circumnavigation.

Kevin and Matt hold a world record for their previous Atlantic Crossing and Patrick and Adam hold a world record for their circumnavigation of the UK.

Ocean5 intend to break records again, being the fastest crew and the first all male crew of 5 to row from Monterey to Kaua'i.
