Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
At Ocean Holidays, our purpose is clear: to create the best holiday experiences by being the company that cares the most—about our customers, our team, our partners, and our communities.
That’s why our team, Ocean’s 13, led by George and Harry Hastings, is taking on a huge challenge this July: running a combined 190.5KM—the distance from our Romford HQ to the English Channel or in this case from Zimbabwe to Zambia—for the fantastic charity Play It Forward.
They're raising £10,000 for Play It Forward, a Zambian charity founded by Oliver Brendon, CEO of Attraction Tickets and long-time supplier, client and partner of Ocean Holidays. Play It Forward supports young people in Livingstone through sport, education, nutrition, and sexual health awareness — with a particular focus on empowering girls and creating lasting, local impact. Their professional football club is the only known team to pay both women and mean the same.
This effort is more than just kilometres; it’s a reflection of the Ocean Holidays values that guide us every day:
Strive to Be the Best.
From casual joggers to serious runners, each Ocean’s 13 member is pushing themselves out of their comfort zone.
Do the Right Thing.
This isn’t just a run. It’s about making real impact. Raising money for a meaningful cause is one way we live out our value of always doing the right thing — even when it’s tough.
Make it happen
We’re owning every step, every blister, and every kilometre. Ocean’s 13 is committed to seeing this challenge through.
We’re incredibly proud of our team and grateful for everyone backing us.
Please do donate whatever you can to this fantastic cause and join us in wishing Ocean’s 13 the best of luck!
