A Jacket 4 Jackie – #WhosJackie?

The campaign is live, and we’re on a mission. A Jacket 4 Jackie is about more than just food – it’s about giving warmth, hope, and dignity to those who need it most.

Here’s how it works:

🥔 Every jacket potato sold from our spud van = £1 donated to Off The Streets, a local charity dedicated to helping the homeless.

🧥 Every unwanted jacket donated = another person kept warm this winter.

And on November 1st, 2025, “ the boys will be taking things even further — cycling over 350 miles from Carlisle to Southend in just one week. Not pros, just two ordinary lads putting in the graft to raise money, awareness, and support for people who need it most.

Our target is big:

• 100,000 jackets donated

• As much funding as possible to back Off The Streets and their vital work supporting the homeless in our community

But with your help, it’s possible. Every jacket counts. Every pound matters. Every share spreads the message.

Off the streets is a homeless charity based in Southend. We believe everyone deserves a place to call home, our main objective is to get rough sleepers off the streets and into permanent accommodation. We also work together with other agencies to prevent homelessness.

Our new shelter will offer 7 en-suite bedrooms, including 2 double rooms and an accessible room. There will be a variety of support services available.

Off The Streets aims to give people back a sense of dignity and belonging by providing education and support to achieve their goals and overcome the challenges before them one step at a time. We also follow up to support the guests while they adapt to a permanent home, which for some can be very challenging.

Although to many it’s a shelter to our guests this is HOME!
