On 28th June, I will be attempting the Ironman challenge (a 3.8km swim, 180km cycle and 42.2km run back to back 😅) in Nice, France.

I'm doing this to raise money for The Butterfly AVM..and also to inflate my ego even more (some of you might say this isn’t possible 👀).

All jokes aside, The Butterfly AVM is an amazing charity that has helped the lives of so many AVM sufferers and their families. For those who don’t know, the charity was founded by Nikki Lilly and the Christou family. Since her AVM diagnosis aged 6, Nikki has faced many challenges and countless major operations. Despite this, Nikki has gone on to achieve a number of remarkable things including receiving a Pride of Britain Award for courage and more recently speaking at the United Nations as an advocate for people with visible differences. Nikki is an inspiration to so many people worldwide and I feel honoured to know her.

All the money raised for The Butterfly AVM will help to continue building awareness, supporting and raising funds for much needed research into the understanding of AVM’s and continue to help the lives of AVM sufferers like Nikki.

Please give do generously for this worthy cause. Every donation received will help me to push through the inevitable pain on the day (think chafe, blisters, muscle cramps etc) and will also help to make my insufferable Instagram exercise posts worth it (@OGprojectironman if you’re not already following).
