Oh Chute that's a long way down!
Westerleigh Group has named Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, as its new corporate charity partner and aims to raise £300,000 over the two year partnership to support its vital work.

Story

Dementia effects a whole family not just the person who develops the condition.

Claire and Lianne, Crematorium Attendants at Waseley Hills Crematorium in Rubery, wanted to do something that was out of their comfort zone to raise money for Westerleigh Groups nominated charity. Not simply because the company suggested the charity, they did but because both have had interaction with families who are directly affected by the condition.

This jump won't cure dementia but every penny raised will go towards research, care and support in all the right and relevant places.
