This year I am running the Great North Run for Ordinary Hero UK, to raise money to build a much needed school in a rural community in Uganda. The charity needs to raise £65,000 in total, so I am raising as much as I can to contribute to this.

There are over 1000 young children in the region who do not go to school, unless they walk 10km of a dirt track to the nearest school and 10km back. Imagine living in a world where education isn't available or is too dangerous to access, and yet we get to make a difference! I am extremely passionate about this work after visiting Africa 10 years ago and meeting the most beautiful people.

After fundraising for this project, I will be travelling to Uganda next year to support with the school build, and will be able to post updates to show how it's all going for those interested! Thank you so much in advance for any contribution you are able to give into this - lives will be forever changed on the back of it! I am so grateful :)
