Emmanuel and I are running a half marathon together on Sunday, May 3rd! We are raising money for Pamoja, the charity that supported Emmanuel from the age of 9 when he moved into Kware Care Centre. We are incredibly grateful for the support he has received through Pamoja, as well as for all the work they are still doing today. Their work includes: two children's homes which provide permanent and temporary accommodation; funding the basic education of many children through child sponsorship; a clinic in a rural village in Eastern Kenya to provide crucial medical access; providing quality and affordable education through their school; and running other local community empowerment projects.

Since 2019, Emmanuel and I have visited the Pamoja children's homes in Kenya together each year, as well as visiting their school in Western Kenya. The children in the homes hold a very special place in our hearts - they are basically family to Emmanuel.
