Salam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh.

First, I'd like to appreciate your support towards this project over the last couple of years. Through our collective efforts, the mosque has been able to raise over £600,000 for this project. By summer In Sha Allah, we should have our final planning commission, after which construction must start within 3 years.

Alhamdulilah for witnessing another Ramadan and for being able to reach the best part of the Holy month. This year, my target is to raise £1,500 for my local mosque, Lewisham Islamic Centre.

Allah says in the Qur'an, "Who is he that will lend Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times?" (2:245). In Surat Rahman verse 60, Allah asked "Is the reward for goodness other than goodness?"

Giving charity is highly encouraged in Islam, especially during these last days and nights of Ramadan among which is the Night of Majesty. May Allah accept our acts of worship.
