Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge - Olano Fundraiser

Bryony Hill is raising money for Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge · 13 September 2025

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary is an independent charity established in 1988. We rescue abandoned and neglected animals across South & West Yorks, NE Derbyshire & North Notts. We rehome hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits and horses annually, and rely solely on donations and fundraising to continue.

Story

We’re taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge – a tough 24-mile hike across Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough – in just 24-hours, to raise vital funds for Thornberry Animal Sanctuary in South Yorkshire. It’s not just a physical challenge, but one driven by our love for animals and a desire to help a charity that does incredible work for abandoned, neglected, and unwanted animals.

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary has been rescuing and rehoming animals for over 30 years, giving thousands of dogs, cats, horses, and other animals a second chance at a happy life. They rely entirely on donations and public support to keep going – and every penny we raise will go directly towards their care, shelter, and medical treatment.

We know times are tough, but any donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference. Whether it’s the cost of a bag of pet food, a vet visit, or the upkeep of their facilities, your generosity will help Thornberry continue to be a lifeline for animals in need.

Please support us if you can – and share our fundraiser to help us reach more animal lovers. Let’s climb these peaks with purpose and raise as much as we can for this brilliant cause. Thank you!
