I am fundraising for emerge advocacy which is the charity that worked with me in 2024. They work from medway hospital with young people experiencing issues with self harm and suicidal thoughts. I worked with the wonderful Linda for a number of months, seeing her biweekly. Linda helped me build my self esteem, find joy in the little things and realise I deserved recovery. Emerge advocacy helps young people recover but more than that they stop people from commiting suicide.

This is meaningful to me as someone who has not only experienced these issues but encountered lots of other people who have. In 2020 I lost my childhood bestfriend, Jasmine, to suicide and it left a hole in my life. Emerge helps to ensure that less people have to know the pain of losing people to suicide.

I'm September I will be paragliding from a mountain at nearly 7000ft, I am, myself, scared of heights and doing this will show me that I truly can overcome anything. Doing this in memory of my friend and to raise money for such a wonderful and important charity means the world to me. Please donate to emerge as they not only help with rehabilitation but save lives.
