What is Face Equality International?

-Face Equality refers to the concept that individuals should be treated fairly and without discrimination based on their facial appearance

-It emphasises the idea that everyone, regardless of their facial features, has inherent value and should be afforded the same rights, respect, and opportunities.

-FEI works as an Alliance of organisations towards equality, both legally and socially, for people with marks, scars and conditions affecting their appearances.

-For example, FEI does incredible work through petitions to stop the lazy use of facial differences to try and depict villain and evil in Hollywood.

As someone with a visible port- wine stain birthmark, finding this charity and seeing the work being done is incredible, and I’d be so grateful for any donations to try be better represented and help others encourage further education.
