Story
At Cardinal Newman, each year the head students choose to fundraise for a charity. This year, myself and the other 2 head students chose St.Rocco's to be the charity we do our annual Christmas fundraising for. St. Rocco's is a local charity reliant upon the fundraising of the community. It is a wonderful place where many people close to me personally have been cared for, and loved ones of others in our school community. This is why we have chosen to dedicate our fundraising to them. We have completed activities in school and I would like to play my own part in our fundraising by completing the distance of a marathon over a week. I will start this journey on 30th December by doing a park run at Victoria Park and will finish the challenge on 6th January in the same way. The other runs in between both of these, will be completed in different places around Warrington with family and friends.
