Story
It’s been a little over 20 years since my dad Alan passed away, losing his battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. I often think of him and how lymphoma impacted our family’s life. Furthermore, in the past few years a few of my close friends have undergone treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, thankfully both have had positive outcomes, but it has brought the importance of lymphoma research back into sharp focus for me.
Lymphoma UK are a small charity dedicated to funding lymphoma research, and being a pharmaceutical scientist at heart, I am keen to help fund more research, particularly into the complex area of non-Hodgkins lymphoma, which has over 60 different types some very rare and most difficult to treat.
