Hey! I will be travelling as part of the group to Malawi and meeting the inspiring women MicroLoan Foundation support. These are the women that have had the chance to receive training and ongoing support, build businesses and have worked themselves out of extreme poverty. The purpose of the trip is to meet the inspirational women, support branch operations and continue advocacy for the work of the foundation.

All donations received will go directly to the work of Microloan Foundation - a social microfinance institution providing business loans and training to women facing poverty in sub-Saharan Africa. This work enables structural change for the individuals and communities for sustainable and highly effective poverty alleviation.

The foundation’s impact includes supporting over 145,000 women entrepreneurs in 2023, with more than 600,000 children and vulnerable adults benefiting from increased access to food, education, healthcare and better housing. Additionally, 17% of clients move above the poverty line after just one year with the program.
