Story
On October 5th, I’m setting off on the Sri Lanka Rickshaw Run with two of my friends, Freddie and Ben. We’re in for six days crossing the entire country in a rickshaw with no Google maps, no plan and no clue what we’re doing.
A requisite of the event is that we raise £500 for Cool Earth, an awesome charity that protects rainforests by donating money directly to indigenous people who know best how to protect their land. This is a really great video by YouTuber Simon Clark, who goes into a lot of detail on how Cool Earth makes a difference.
If you’d like to donate £10 or more, we’ll print off a sticker of your face and stick it on our tuktuk, so you can come along for the ride.
