Story

Britain's toughest outdoor challenge, taking on the highest mountains of England, Wales and Scotland as we summit Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis on an incredible hike. This challenge will see us climb 5,200 feet and trekking 25 miles through magnificent scenery with our fellow adventurers.

In January 2024, my uncle, who had been suffering from MS, passed away. In his final days, my Uncle Phil needed round the clock care in order to move, clean, and even eat or drink. The relationships he had with his carers are what made him laugh and smile each and every day, so end of life care is an area I am extremely passionate about and would appreciate any and all donations.

We have decided to take on this challenge for Marie Curie, the UK’s leading end of life charity. Marie Curie supports people affected by any terminal illness, such as dementia (including Alzheimer’s), motor neurone disease, MS, Parkinson’s, heart diseases and advanced cancer.

Every five minutes someone in the UK dies without the care and support they need.

The average age that someone experiences their first bereavement is at 20 years old, meaning that for many people across the UK this may happen whilst at University. And with your help we can support them through it.
