Story
My name is Oliver. I am 16 years old. I have been selected to embark on a transformative, unforgettable expedition to the heart of Belize, a tropical paradise filled with vibrant wildlife, stunning landscapes, and ancient cultures. This incredible opportunity is possible thanks to Hereford Expedition Group – HEG, a youth-focused charity dedicated to providing life-changing experiences. The money I am raising is to secure my place on this expedition in August 2024, where not only will I get the chance to take part in adventurous activities, but I will also be able to give back by volunteering within the local communities and environmental projects. The first confirmed project is a turtle conservation in Payne’s Creek National Park, where many conservation efforts have been under way for a long time to ensure that some endangered species of turtles are protected and are thriving in their ecosystems. The second project is yet to be confirmed, however, it will be focused around assisting the community living in Big Falls. I will meet people living in these communities to understand the importance of local environmental challenges and learn about conservation efforts to protect the unique ecosystems of Belize.
These project need your help. Please consider giving generously to support and protect the species and ecosystems in stunning Belize. Your support will also allow me to experience a likely once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the beauty of Belize and learn hands-on about the unique ancient cultures.
Thank you for your help and support. I will be grateful forever.
I promise to keep you up-to-date on my FB page.
