Story
On 25th April 2027, I'll be running the London Marathon in memory of my cousin Lee, who we lost to suicide.
Lee was a runner himself. He ran marathons to support my sister and to raise money for Diabetes UK, always putting his miles towards helping someone else.
This time, I'm lacing up for him. Losing Lee has shown me how many people are struggling in silence, and how important it is that nobody feels they have to face that alone. That's why I'm running for Mind, a charity that makes sure anyone experiencing a mental health problem can get support and respect.
Every pound you give helps fund their helplines, local services and campaigns that change the way we talk about mental health. 26.2 miles is going to hurt, but I'll be carrying Lee with me every step of the way. If you can donate, share this page and thank you. It means more than I can say.
