Emma's Fund is a Special Fund of the Bone Cancer Research Trust raising vital funds for life-saving research into Ewing sarcoma.

Story

I enjoy a good bike ride, but this challenge is a little nuts - cycling +800km across the Pyrenees in 6 days, with ~20,000m of climbing and 23 mountain passes!

The Bone Cancer Research Trust is dedicated to saving lives and improving outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer. Despite being small, they fund more research projects exploring primary bone cancer than any other organisation. Other large UK cancer research charities do not prioritise bone cancer patients - in 2019 just 0.028% of their research spend went to bone cancer – not even close to 1%! Last year alone, Bone Cancer Research Trust committed an incredible £807,824 to pioneering bone cancer research - to save lives!

Their research is the reason that my daughter is still alive and the new treatment she is currently having is a direct result of their research. She doesn't want me to guilt trip you into donating by going into any details of her story. So don't donate for Emma, donate for the future patients and all the extra time with family and loved ones that the Bone Cancer Research Trust work results in.

Starting on 11th September 2023 I'm taking on this challenge and I'm aiming to raise as much as possible for this incredible cause. Please help me reach my goal by donating whatever you can.
