We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi, I’m Ollie. I’m raising money for Mind in memory of my brother, Nick Tanton Brown. One of Nick’s favourite song was “Dream Catch Me” by Newton Faulkner, and on the 31st August 2025 , I’ll be playing it live at Hawkinge Cricket Club.

Here’s the catch: I don’t play guitar—yet. I’ve got 11 (8 months now) months to learn from scratch and prepare a full hour-long set, with no chords or lyrics on stage—just me, a mic, and a guitar.

Mental health is something that affects everyone, and Mind does incredible work supporting those in need. Every donation will go directly to helping them continue their vital services.

I’ll be sharing my journey along the way, from complete beginner to (hopefully) a decent performer. Any support you can give, whether through donations or simply following along, would mean a lot.

Thank you for helping me honour Nick and support a great cause.

Ollie
