A celebration of all things cycling, the RideLondon-Essex 100 will next take place on Sunday 26th May 2024.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. We are aiming to raise at least £1000 for the Sheffield charity Roundabout by doing the Ride London bike ride on 26th May 2024.

The Ride London is a bike ride around London, to Essex, and back, in a day.

As you may know, Oliver is a good cyclist; 100 miles in a day will be a great challenge for him and one he will surely rise to strongly with some dedicated training, some decent coffee and some jelly babies.

Amy on the other hand struggles to get on her e-bike regularly, so cycling all day on a road bike with no battery attached to will be a HUGE challenge. Massive. She might be completely bananas for even attempting this.

What will keep us both going through the months of training ahead will be thinking about the incredible cause we are raising money for. No young person should be homeless, not in 2024. Lots of difficult things have happened to put young people at risk of homelessness, and we want to do our little bit to help support them. We know that legends like you will want to help them too. Thanks for anything at all that you can give.

Roundabout is South Yorkshire's youth homeless charity. Every day, they provide shelter and support to over 380 young people in South Yorkshire who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Your support will go a long way to changing the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in South Yorkshire. Their work is a lifeline for many and supports the young people they work with to prepare for a better future.

Thanks everyone, your support is hugely appreciated. Amy and Oliver xxxx
