Story
🪩🏃♂️ I’m running my FIRST marathon… in disco gear 🪩🏃♂️
And I’m doing it for Club Soda.
In April, I’ll be running the London Marathon (my first ever marathon) dressed in disco gear. Yes, really. Sequins, sparkle, questionable choices….all in the name of a brilliant cause.
I’m raising £1,500 for Club Soda, a disability-led arts charity in Croydon that supports people with learning disabilities and autism through music, media and inclusive creative projects.
💥 Why £1,500 matters
£1,500 pays for free music workshops for 10 young people and adults for an entire year.
That’s a year of creativity, confidence, connection and joy - removing barriers so people can take part, express themselves and be celebrated for who they are.
🎶 Every £5 pays for one free music workshop
Every donation helps keep music workshops free and accessible for young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism.
£5 – Pays for 1 free music workshop
£10 – Pays for 2 free music workshops
£15 – Pays for 3 free music workshops
£25 – Pays for 5 free music workshops
£50 – Pays for a full term of 10 music workshops for one person
£100 – Pays for two full terms of workshops for one person
£250 – Helps fund workshops for multiple people across a term
£500 – Supports a group of participants to attend regularly and build confidence
£1,500 – 🎉 Funds free music workshops for 10 young people and adults for a whole year 🎉
Running 26.2 miles will be tough. Running them in disco gear will be tougher.
But it’s nothing compared to the everyday barriers Club Soda works to break down.
If you can donate, cheer me on, or share this page - thank you.
You’ll be backing inclusive creativity and helping me get to the finish line 🪩💙
