Next year I have the amazing opportunity to travel to Uganda with Drumbeat UK, a charity that is especially close to my heart. It was set up by my grandparents, whose passion has always been to give vulnerable children in Uganda the chance of a brighter future.

Over the years, Drumbeat has sponsored over 100 children, helping those with nothing gain an education and hope for the future. The impact it has already had on so many lives is incredible, and I'm excited to be a part of it.

In August 2026, I’ll be joining a team to run a week-long summer camp at a local school where most of the sponsored children study. The camp will be filled with fun and creativity—sports, arts, crafts, and more—all designed to help the children learn new skills, build confidence, and discover opportunities that could one day lead them into jobs or even higher education.

I am fundraising to make this camp as enriching as possible by providing meals for all the children during the week and by buying the equipment and supplies we need to run the activities.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make such a difference. Your kindness will go directly towards giving these children a week to remember. Please just include “camp 26” in the donation description so we can make sure every penny goes straight into the camp fund.
