The Countess Charity’s Extra Mile Appeal

We all know that our wonderful NHS is need of some extra help, this is why the ‘Extra Mile Appeal’ has been created

This new and exciting 2-year £500,000 appeal at The Countess Charity will see many wards and departments receiving additional pieces of equipment which will help our staff provide the best care possible.

Our struggling NHS provides funding for 6200 staff at the Countess, Drs, Nurses, Specialist Consultants, Pharmacists, Domestic services, Medicines, Heating, Lighting, Medical equipment servicing and maintenance department, A whole team of Joiners, Plumbers and maintenance to undertake repairs, alterations and maintenance , the list goes on!

Our trust also provides all the necessary equipment for our staff to do their work, but this equipment is just the necessary, not the Extras or ‘Nice to have’s’ , this is where The Countess Charity s new Extra Mile Appeal will be most effective in helping our local hospital to offer the most Safe, Effective and Kind service that we can.
