As an animal lover, I’m over the moon to be running the London Marathon on behalf of the RSPCA Derby. ❤️

Not many people know this (I didn’t until I got in touch), but RSPCA Derby is a local, independent charity that receives no government funding. The team cares for animals who’ve suffered abuse, neglect or abandonment, giving them a second chance at life. Every year, they rescue, rehabilitate and rehome hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits and small animals.

The centre costs over £12,000 per week to run and relies entirely on public support to keep going.

I’m hoping to raise £1,750 for this wonderful charity. Yes, running the London Marathon is a dream come true – but it’s definitely not going to be easy 🥲. Between the early mornings, achey legs, chafing wounds and basically having no social life for 16 weeks, your support will honestly drag me through 😅
