THE FUN STUFF:

I am SUPER excited about the adventure I am so grateful to be able to go on next month.

Herbalife Nutrition Foundation members are taking on an epic 4-day cycling adventure from Prague to Krakow to support vulnerable children across the UK.

Last year when the opportunity presented itself to me, I didn't hesitate in saying 'YES' (not to the dress but to a bike!). I thought, 'Olivia to push yourself my girl, to blow your boundaries you're gonna have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. And sheesh! the saddle is uncomfortable! and to learn about bike stuff...who knew about cleats (I said pardon when I first heard the word), SPDs, 105/Ultega gear sets, 50/34 chain sets, 11/34 cassettes - I mean aint a bike just a bike?!!

THE FACTS:

Anyway, now for the evidence. Since April, to today, the 29th August, I have cycled...

1415 KM / 879 Miles for you Imperialists / 63.5 hours

...which to some of you may not be much but as far as I am concerned, considering I'm no cyclist, especially not a road one, i'm pretty chuffed with what I've achieved so far. Don't get me wrong, cycling 300 miles over 4 days is going to be a CHALLENGE but fortunately I'm fit and determined so BRING IT ON!

THE SERIOUS STUFF

AFC https://www.actionforchildren.org.uk protects and supports children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support, ensuring their voices are heard, and campaigning to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
