Story
During his final days and weeks Simon was in the care of the Royal Stoke infirmary, who were marvellous. As a family, we were looked after with the utmost respect and care by nurses, doctors and all manner of helpers, palliative care team members and more. We were able to visit him 24 hours a day, and be with Simon whenever he needed. He was also treated with dignity, genuine warmth, humour, kindness and more than respect by the care team. We'd like to nominate University Hospitals north Midlands as our chosen charity, if you would like to make a small donation to help them continue their vital work in the future.
