As many of you know, I love a challenge — and this one might just be the biggest yet! In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise £2,000 for an incredible local charity — Barnstondale.

Barnstondale is a truly special place right here on the Wirral. It’s an outdoor education centre that gives children the chance to experience adventure, build confidence, and feel like they truly belong. For many young people, a stay at Barnstondale is life changing. It’s a place where every child matters.

As a teacher, I know how important it is for children to feel brave, included, and valued — and that’s exactly what Barnstondale creates.

I’ll be fundraising every step (and every mile!) of the way between now and race day — with local events, cake sales and more.
