I wanted to raise money by running Cardiff half marathon in memory of my Grandads wonderful wife Heather who unfortunately lost her battle with Dementia in April 2026. He chose Carers First.

Watching someone you love fall victim to this awful disease is so heartbreaking, but she is now at peace.
