I said I’d never run a marathon…..and here I am runnning a marathon!

I couldn’t be prouder to be running for Keep Me Breathing. An amazing charity which is so close to my heart. I first met Beau and his family a couple of years ago and had no idea about CCHS. Imagine needing breathing equipment to keep you alive every time you went to sleep, not something you usually have to think about with a newborn, but very much the case for children with CCHS. There is currently no cure, which means Beau, who is now a lively and curious 2 year old has bulky breathing equipment with him at all times. My fundraising will go towards research and the development of more practical breathing apparatus to allow Beau and his family just a slice of the independence most of us take very much for granted.
