In September, I'll be joining a group of friends on a 42km charity hike along the breathtaking Jurassic Coast, UK, all in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan's unwavering commitment to providing vital assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer deeply resonates with us.

This cause holds a special significance for me as I trek in memory of my dad, who battled late-stage bowel cancer for 4 months before passing away in 2021. My family and I were thrust into a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty upon his diagnosis, and looking back, the support of an organization like Macmillan would have been invaluable in navigating those challenging times.

As we gear up for this adventure, we're driven by the opportunity to give back to an organization that offers solace and support to countless others facing similar battles. Each step we take along the Jurassic Coast will be a tribute to the resilience of those impacted by this relentless disease.
