Story
Last year we completed the Leeds Half Marathon with the amazing Running for Bob crew, raising £13k across the team for the MND Assocation. The atmosphere was so special that we were inspired to come back and do it again but this time running twice as far - the full marathon!
We’ve been training since January and turns out this marathon business is quite hard…there have been some tears (me, not Will), lots of patience (Will, not me), gritted teeth (both of us) and I fear at least one toenail may be lost in the process. But on the days when we’ve had to dig deep and find the motivation to putting the miles and hours in, remembering why we’re running keeps us going.
We’re fundraising not only for the wonderful O’Keefes and much missed Bob, but for all the individuals and families affected by MND, in the hope that one day no one else has to suffer because of this disease.
We would be super grateful for anything you can donate to the cause - which will really help us (mainly me, let’s be honest!) get over the finish line on the big day.
Thank you! X
