Queenscourt is thrilled to be named the Charity of the Year for the 2025 Southport Seaside 10k! We can’t wait to cheer on our amazing runners and support them every step of the journey!

Story

Those of you who know me will know how I struggle to even run 5k, but I’ve decided to set myself a challenge and signed up for the Southport Seaside 10k in August in aid of Queenscourt Hospice.

Queenscourt Hospice provide Specialist Palliative Care caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses and support their family when they need us the most. They are a small local charity with a big reach and the demands for their services are ever increasing.

For those of you who know me and my family, you will already understand how special this place has been to us. For those who don’t, our family sadly lost a very special lady just over a year ago. The support, love and care that Queenscourt Hospice gave to my Auntie Margaret and our family was unbelievable. Knowing that places like this mostly rely on fundraising to operate really hits home and I want to do something to give back what I can.

So, I would be forever grateful for any donations you can make in support of this truly incredible place.

This one is for you, Auntie Marg!

💜💚Thank you.💚💜
