This October, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Zambia for 10 days to volunteer at Kawama School and work alongside the local community. The trip is organised by the amazing charity Beyond Ourselves, who are dedicated to education, empowerment, and lasting impact. You can read more about their work here: Beyond Ourselves.

Kawama School provides life-changing education to children who would otherwise have little or no access to learning. Beyond Ourselves partners with the school to not only support teachers and improve education but also to care for the wellbeing of children and their families.

Every pound raised will go directly to the school and the children, helping to provide resources, improve facilities, and support sustainable education for the community.

My fundraising challenge

To help reach my fundraising goal of £5,000, I’ll be doing the London Marathon route (26.2 miles!) on Sunday 21st September. While it won’t be the official race, I’ll be covering every step of the famous course to raise awareness and support for this cause that means so much.
