Story
Welcome to our fundraising page for CoppaFeel!
This September, we will be taking on a challenging, extraordinary and life-changing full marathon trek (26.2 miles in one day) in the Lake District — all in the name of checking chests.
We’re doing this together as amazing friends, alongside Gi Fletcher and some other familiar faces, completing this one-day marathon trek to raise vital funds for CoppaFeel! — a charity that is incredibly close to our hearts. What makes this challenge even more special is that Emma will be taking part not long after having a baby, making this an even greater physical and emotional achievement.
Our reason for doing this is deeply personal. In April 2024, Olivia was diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age — something none of us ever imagined would happen. What followed was surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and ongoing Herceptin treatment for 18 months. It was a physically and emotionally life-changing journey.
Without early detection, Olivia’s story could have been very different. Catching it when it was quite simply saved a life — and that’s exactly why CoppaFeel!’s work matters so much.
CoppaFeel! are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure young people regularly check their boobs, pecs and chests, know what’s normal for them, and feel confident to see their GP if something doesn’t feel right. Their work saves lives — and we are living proof of just how vital early action can be.
We’re taking on this challenge not just for ourselves, but to raise awareness, protect others, and help save lives.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps CoppaFeel! continue their life-saving work and ensures more people have the knowledge and confidence to act early.
Thank you so much for your support — it truly means the world to us.
