Edinburgh Inflatable 5K 2025 · 30 August 2025 ·

Jaxon’s Gift has been set up to support and raise awareness, within our local community and across Scotland, for families with children and young people who have been affected by a cancer diagnosis, particularly those diagnosed with a Diffuse Midline Glioma (DIPG).

Story

Hey Everyone 👋🏼

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Ollie Alfie and Olly along with their Mums, Kim Kara and Stacey are taking on a sponsored 5k inflatable course to raise money for a truly special cause – Jaxon’s Gift 🧡

Jaxon was a fit, happy-go-lucky six year old when, on 14th April 2024, he was sadly diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma (DIPG) – a rare and terminal brain tumour on his brain stem. After a brave battle, Jaxon heartbreakingly passed away just eight months later on 14th December 2024. 💔

His family, friends and community came together during such a difficult time, and from that love, Jaxon’s Gift was created. The charity helps other children and families facing similar situations, as well as giving back to the local community that supported them.

This challenge means so much to us, as Jaxon was not only a friend of the 3 boys, but his parents are also friends of Kim Kara & Stacey. The boys are very supportive to the Charity and are determined to do something positive in Jaxon’s memory, and we couldn’t be prouder of them for taking this on 🧡

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us and to the amazing work being done in Jaxon’s name. 🧡
