London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

We are aiming to raise £30,000, to fund a 10-week specialised and structured programme of group therapy for bereaved children and their families.

Story

My dad passed away almost 18 years ago to the day of the London Landmarks Half Marathon.

My family and I were greatly supported by the work of the Grief Encounter charity after his passing, and knowing that they were there during that difficult time made it slightly easier for us.

At Grief Encounter, they believe no child should face grief alone. This year, I’m committing to both training and fundraising to help ensure that children who are grieving get the support and care they need to heal. Your donations will help provide vital resources, counseling, and a safe space for children navigating loss.

I want to take this opportunity to give back and ensure that other children are given the help they need, at the time they need it the most. Please help me make a difference by contributing to this cause. Together, we can ensure that grieving children don’t have to go through it alone.
