Story
In May 2026, Ollie United Football Club proudly expanded to Northern Ireland following founder Robson O’Reardon’s move to Coleraine, marking an exciting new chapter in the club’s journey.
Ollie United FC was originally founded in Luton, England, in 2019 with a purpose far greater than football. The club was established to raise funds for Robson’s two-year-old cousin, Ollie Sweeney, after he was diagnosed with Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma. The football community came together to support Ollie and his family throughout his courageous battle. Sadly, Ollie passed away in July 2021 at just four years old. (solvingkidscancer.org.uk)
Today, Ollie United continues to play in Ollie’s memory. Every match, event and fundraiser is dedicated to helping children and families facing childhood cancer, while raising vital funds to give more children the chance of a brighter future. What began as a single charity football team has grown into a community united by friendship, remembrance and the belief that football can make a real difference.
