We want to raise money for Caritas by taking part in a Little Sleep Out. To ensure that people have the support they need to prevent them from becoming homeless, that people who do become homeless are helped to secure safe accommodation with the support they need to make a new home, and that no one has to sleep rough.

£30.06 time with a key worker to help start an application for Homelessness or Universal Credit, or get someone into accommodation.

£50 - hot lunch for 80 people at one of our day centres.

£60 - a new set of clothes (e.g. tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt, sweatshirt, underwear) and toiletries for someone sleeping rough.

£79 - for a basic smart phone for someone who is homeless, so that they can keep in touch with support services and make online applications for housing, benefits and jobs.

£1,500 - sponsor a room for a year to support someone who would be homeless.

Our Lady of the Rosary have supported Caritas for many years. On Friday 11th July, staff and pupils from Year 5 and 6, will take part in their own Little Sleep Out, fundraising event. The group will sleep in the school grounds to raise funds for Caritas. All those participating will have a greater understanding of how it feels to be homeless from their first-hand experiences. Our Lady's raised over £1000 at last years event. Please give generously.
