EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

6 months after I was born, my grandad fell off his bike and banged his head. He died before he got to hospital (despite wearing a helmet). I want to raise money to help people that do survive these type of accidents in his memory.

This is my reason for choosing to support the Headway charity, which helps anyone with a head injury. This type of injury can be as a result of a stroke, a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault or even a brain tumour.

We have a local Headway in Lancaster.
