Story
This year, I’m running the Manchester 10K with my dad.
Watching someone you love go through this disease is hard to explain unless you’ve lived it. You see the pain, the bad days and the strength it takes just to keep going.
There have been times when even getting through the day has been a challenge for him, so standing on that start line together means everything 2 years into remission.
I’m running this with him because I’ve seen what he’s been up against. I’ve seen the fight, the setbacks, and the courage it takes to keep pushing forward.
