Insha’Allah, Omar and Nakash will personally be travelling to Syria, specifically to the cities of Aleppo and Idlib, to hand-deliver your amanah directly to those in need. This is something I have dreamed of for a long time, and it is a journey I am undertaking with deep intention, responsibility, and sincerity.

I am doing this for all our loved ones who have left us — friends and family who are no longer with us — and in their honour. This is a form of sadaqah jariyah and remembrance, and I pray that every act of kindness reaches them as ongoing reward.

Through Al Qulub Trust, we will be providing winter packs for the most vulnerable families who are facing the harsh and unforgiving winter in Syria. These packs include:

• Essential winter clothing

• Winter fuel to keep families warm

• Hot meals for those struggling to find daily food

• Critical support for those who have lost almost everything
