Help On1Fitness Install a 24/7 Defibrillator & bleed kit on Morden Hall Road SM4
At On1Fitness, we care deeply about our community's health and safety. That's why we are raising £2000 to install a life-saving, 24/7 accessible defibrillator outside our gym on Morden Hall Road.
This initiative is in partnership with the Paul Alan Project, a charity dedicated to raising awareness and increasing the availability of defibrillators across the UK. The Paul Alan Project was founded to honor Paul Alan, who tragically passed away from a cardiac arrest at a football match. Their mission is to ensure that more lives can be saved with faster access to vital emergency equipment like defibrillators.
While defibrillators save thousands of lives every year, we have noticed a gap in their availability in the Morden area. Merton Council has been unable to assist with funding, and we are stepping up to fill that gap. This defibrillator will be accessible to everyone in our community, 24/7, making a significant difference in emergencies.
Every minute counts in cardiac arrest situations. According to the British Heart Foundation, up to 30% of people who experience out-of-hospital cardiac arrests can survive when treated with a defibrillator within minutes. By installing this device, we could help save lives—whether it's someone visiting our gym or simply passing by.
Please donate to help us make this vital equipment available to everyone. Your support, no matter how small, could be the difference in saving a life.
Thank you from all of us at On1Fitness!
