This is Finn, a brave little boy who was diagnosed with Leukaemia last year at the age of 4.

Since then, he has faced weeks and months in and out of the hospital, missing Christmas and his birthday due to being in hospital, battling both the disease and the toll of treatment.

The journey has been incredibly challenging for his family, who have shown remarkable strength and resilience throughout this ordeal. Finn is doing brilliantly now, but there is still a long road ahead. With his treatment scheduled to finish in January 2027 all being well.

To support Finn and others facing similar battles, I am raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, an organisation that has provided invaluable assistance to many families like Finn's and mine.

Their dedication to transforming cancer care ensures that everyone living with cancer receives the support they need right now and in the future.

Finn’s family said MacMillan have been there for them since day one, and continue to be there throughout, explaining things clearly to them, signposting them when they need extra support, checking in on their mental health and even meeting with Finns school to help him get back to some sort of normality…

They’re incredible and deserve our support.

On August 6th, 2025, I will be starting the Coast to Coast Cycle which is over 100 miles, with my Mountain Rescue Search dog Ace, to raise awareness and funds, this charity has been selected by Finn’s family.

Although, my bike is 25 years old and I haven't trained as much as I should have…. Or at all,

oh and Ace is recovering from a broken leg so I’ve bought him a trailer!

At nearly 40 years old and carrying some extra weight, so

this challenge won't be easy—but it's for an amazing cause and you get to laugh at my videos on the way!
