One Step At Time - Forever Stars - Baby Loss Awareness Week Walk 2024 · 11 October 2024

Forever Stars provides and maintains two bereavement suites in Nottingham, a baby loss remembrance garden in Highfields Park and a support centre. The charity supports families throughout their baby loss journey supporting their mental health and well-being.

Story

Following the success of the last three years walks, on October 11th 2024 (baby loss awareness week) friends of Forever Stars are leading a 26 mile marathon walk around Nottingham taking in some local landmarks and charity supporters along the way. It’s called One Step At A Time to signify the steps families take when coming to terms with baby loss.

Any money raised will go to Forever Stars to continue the vital work they do supporting baby loss families. Anyone is welcome to join us for either 1 mile or 26 miles.

Forever Stars was setup following the stillbirth of Emily Daniels on December 19th 2013. Since then, the charity has gone on to fund 2 bereavement suites in Nottingham, a remembrance garden for baby loss families and also runs a support centre for baby loss families.

All of the work is funded by the generosity of supporters and friends of the charity who fundraise for Forever Stars.

Forever Stars is 100% volunteer run, so every penny raised, goes to supporting the cause.
