26 Mile Walk · 10 October 2025

Forever Stars provides and maintains two bereavement suites in Nottingham, a baby loss remembrance garden in Highfields Park and a support centre. The charity supports families throughout their baby loss journey supporting their mental health and well-being.

Story

On October 10th, 2025, as part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, we will be walking 26 miles in honour of all the babies taken too soon — from miscarriage to early infant loss.

In solidarity with grieving families everywhere, we aim to turn Nottingham pink and blue — walking and talking together to help lift the taboo surrounding baby loss.

Whether you join us for one mile or the full 26, your presence helps break the silence and show that these little lives, however brief, are never forgotten.

Let’s walk with purpose, speak with compassion, and honour every precious memory.

Forever Stars was setup following the stillbirth of Emily Daniels on December 19th 2013. Although Emily was stillborn, Michelle and Richard had to go back on to the labour ward where the surrounded by the sounds of child birth, families celebrating and of course the sound of healthy babies.

Michelle and Richard decided that they would fundraise in the name of their daughter to facilitate the building and equipping of bereavement suites and other support material and facilities of future bereaved parents in and around Nottingham
