About Sheffield Mind
Established in 1978, Sheffield Mind has been providing vital mental health support to the local community for over 45 years. The charity offers a wide range of free services for individuals aged 18 and over, including:
General Counselling (Talking Therapy): Support for a variety of mental health issues.
Bereavement Counselling: Delivered through the Through the Clouds service, helping those coping with loss.
Anger Management Courses: Structured programmes tailored for both men and women.
Walking Therapy: Combining therapeutic support with the benefits of physical activity.
Revive Therapy: A private therapy service for children and young people.
Magpies Service: Specialised support for individuals affected by hoarding behaviours.
Peer Support Groups: Including groups such as Friendly Friday and Mankind.
Support and Recovery Services: Bespoke one-to-one support for individuals with complex mental health needs.
All of these services are offered free of charge, ensuring they are accessible to anyone in need within the community.
