The 1.5 Christmas Challenge
Campaign by Hft (RCN 313069)
There are 1.5 million people in the UK with a learning disability. This Christmas, we’re asking you to choose a fun and meaningful challenge inspired by the number 1.5 and help raise vital funds to support them.

Story

There are 1.5 million people in the UK with a learning disability. To support the national charity Hft, I’m taking on their Christmas 1.5 Challenge, raising awareness and vital funds to support learning disabled adults.

At Kingston Day Service, we support over 100 people to access a wide range of learning and social activities throughout the week, including cookery, art, music and woodwork. It’s a lively, welcoming space where people can build skills, confidence and friendships.

But without funding, learning disabled adults miss out on opportunities that enable and empower them to be seen, heard and to live the best life possible.

Social care is facing huge challenges, but with your help, we can make sure learning disabled adults continue to thrive.

Your support helps create a life where people are valued, included, and able to achieve their goals.

Thank you so much for anything you can give. 💙
