One Punch Tommy

One Punch Man Challenge · 30 April 2025
I was inspired to take up a challenge by one of the kids that I coach in jiu jitsu, who is also doing his own challenge this month. I've done 7 days now and am sure that I can finish what I started, though it will be very difficult. I'm going to copy the workout routine of the animated character 'One Punch Man', who did a 10km run (I'm doing one mile!!), 100 sit-ups, 100 press-ups and 100 squats every day for a very long time. I will be seeing this through to the end of April.
I've chosen this charity as one of the other kids that I coach is in the process of being helped by this charity, and who's parents have said that they do very good work, making it an easy decision for me to sponsor them. Every child deserves a chance to grow and enjoy life, regardless of difficulties, which is something that I seem to have naturally gravitated towards implementing in my two years (so far) of coaching, ensuring that all children of all abilities have an equal opportunity to grow at their own pace and in an environment in which they can be comfortable.
